Llinars del Vallès

Llinars del Vallès is a town located 40 kilometres from Barcelona, beside the Montseny and next to the Corredor range. It has unbeatable natural surroundings ideal for walks plus several biking routes. In autumn during the mushroom season you can find mushrooms in our forests especially milk cap mushrooms, which are a local speciality.

There are many paths leading to Torrassa, a defence tower from Roman times which is open for visits at weekends and offers exceptional views of the Vallès and Maresme regions.

Other places of interest are the Romanesque church of Sant Sadurní de Collsabadell, the XVI century church of Sant Esteve del Coll, the church of Sant Joan de Sanata, the remains of the Castellvell (old castle) from the IX-X centuries or the outstanding modernist building Can Bordoi.

Llinars also welcomes visitors to enjoy its rich and varied culinary options, ranging from traditional cooking to more creative cuisine.
And for resting we recommend you spend the night in one of the many rural lodges on the outskirts of the town.
