Abelló Museum

This municipal art museum, set in a modernist building, holds an important collection of artwork by Mollet-born painter Joan Abelló, as well as a considerable number of Catalan works donated by the painter to the city. The museum has two permanent exhibitions: one dedicated to the collection, featuring works by artists such as Dalí, Sorolla, Casas, Mir, Nonell, Hugué, Tàpies and Brossa, and another devoted to Abelló’s own work. It also offers interesting temporary exhibitions and a space intended for producing and displaying visual arts called L’Aparador.
